Very informational museum. Loved the history about the Navy and the United States. Lots of hands on stuff for the kids to interact with. I did not go into the sub itself, a little claustrophobia issue, but the kids enjoyed it and so did my sister and brother

Great stories and artifacts. Nice self guided tour of 2 ships and a 2 story museum with a gift shop. Nicely priced. Fun for a hour or two. Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful when asked questions.

We thought, when buying our ticket, that this was a sel- guided tour. Once we were in the sub, the crowd began to back up. We spent 15 minutes in a room with a few bunks because the people ahead of us weren't moving. We found out toward the end of our "journey" that there was a guided tour in... More

Interesting WW II submarine that is open for tours plus some other historical materials to observe. Good place to visit on a rainy summer day.

As a Navy Veteran, this was an attraction made for me. You enter the near the bow and travel from watertight compartment to the next and so on. The doors between compartments are about 15 inches from the deck and about five feet high. So unless you are really short, it is contortion city moving about the sub. You can... More

We enjoyed being at the Marina and walking on the ship and the submarine. My father was in the Navy during WW11. My teenage grandchildren learned things they didn't realize. Not only a learning experience, but a great family outing. A Must See.

I felt as though my kids would learn a lot from this museum. It doesn't take long to get thru. If you are an active military you get a discounted price as well as seniors. This good for anyone to see and see how far military life has come in the last years.

My husband and I really enjoyed this museum! It was interesting and a great place to visit! We took a tour of the submarine and we really enjoyed seeing where all the sailors lived so long ago! The tour guide was an older gentleman and he was very interesting to listen to and tell all the details.

If you were in the navy or are into military history than you absolutely owe it to yourself to take the time to stop. You can get a real feel of what our men went thru and felt like while under water sinking the Japanese ships. sleeping on top of the torpedoes and the tight quarters they endured to keep... More

I enjoyed walking through the sub. The museum itself is okay but nothing that I would go see if it were not for the chance to view the sub. I had a coupon for BOGO from the Grand Haven Area Visitors Guide. My wife and I paid $12.50 instead of $25.00.
