Took the local bus from Tours city centre for a couple of euros rather than paying a fortune for a guided tour by a travel company. Had to walk a short distance to premises. Admission was less than 3 euros and included a guided tour...More

We pretty much chose this at random and we made a good choice. The tour of the caves where the wine is stored is very interesting as is the explanation of the wine making process. Our favourite bit of course was the tasting and then...More

We enjoyed our 1 hour tour through the underground cellars. Our tour guide did a really good job explaining the wine making process in the region. The cellars can hold up to 8 million wines and you don't understand the enormity until you see it....More

If you know France you know that most places are closed between 12 and 2 for a darned near universal lunch time for everyone. We arrived at Cave des Producteurs around 11:30, allowing not much time before they closed for lunch at 12:30. But all...More

Interesting wine tour with very engaging and knowledgeable guide. English speaking tours available twice a day. Good insight into local wine making history and production, with a generous and flexible tasting session following the tour. Wines available to buy but no pressure to do so.

We visited this winery in two groups of about 40 students each. It was an excellent visit. Very informative, not too fast, not too slow, with a nice tasting at the end. The whole visit took about an hour. We saw the whole winemaking process,...More

We stopped here to sample some good white wine. We were not disappointed. The wine is good and priced lower that most other places. Most in our group bought a few bottles.
