We were so happy to have a chance to finally stop and we thought the entire bear ranch was well done. There were multiple environments to view the bears, walk the trails, feed the bears apples, a cute little gift shop to help support their...More

This was a"must do" on our itinerary as we don't have bears in the UK. Was glad we went slightly earlier as the closing times were a bit dubious .... an hour earlier after Labor Day ...but us Brits don't know when Labor day is...More

Wow! so cool to see these giants in the wild. Well almost wild. They are very well taken care of and visitors can pay extra to pet cubs and get your picture taken. There is a nice gift shop and plenty of walking around the...More

Arrived at 3:15 and just caught feeding time. All the bears head to the front of the enclosures for food, so this a good opportunity to see many bears up close. The bears seemed to be fed a pretty healthy mix of foods - we...More

We really wanted to see some bears close up and Oswald's didn't disappoint! They have the juveniles, female and male pens. When we visited, they had 40 bears. From what we understand, once they build one more pen, they will be the largest Bear Ranch...More

It was fun to walk around and watch the bears. They have 40 bears total though I'd say we saw about 20 of them. One was in a tree!

It was pretty much what I expected. Something to do if you're a little bored. Pleasant walking around the ranch. For $20/Carload worth it. But wouldn't pay more.

Hello - I do not believe so but they may change their policies in the last year. Also be aware it was sad to see the little cubs in smaller cages just so people could have pictures taken with them. Both the cubs and in... More

Yes, rain or shine. There is a roof over the cubs' area and of course the souvenir shop, but everything else is in the great outdoors.
