Harris Nature Center (the building) itself is rather small but it has a few interesting displays. What we like to visit this place for is the easy access trails that can make for an enjoyable morning or afternoon of hiking year-round. Across the street is...More

Lovely little nature park with a building that features local animals and frogs and snakes. Great day trip for little folks. Also a walking path that is over 1 mile and is covered in Tarmac so great for handicapped people and for pushing a carriage....More

The trails are interesting and well marked. Birders will like it. Parking is adequate most of the time. The one big thing to be aware of is very discourteous dog owners who allow dog droppings to be left in the middle of the trails. The...More

I ride my horses here quite a bit in the summers and fall. Its a little too wet in the spring and winter in MI is made for hibernating. They take good care of the trails and its never too busy.

Stopped at the Harris Nature Center for the first time. Walked one of the blacktopped trails. The woods are beautiful and many of the trees have information posted about them. Plan to go back and spend more time walking and visiting the building and exhibits.

It was fall, the colors were AMAZING. I could not have been happier with the tour provided to us to find "just the right spot" for our ceremony. We had wedding photography taken in the woods. The pictures turned out gorgeous. The staff was so...More

The people here care about their mission, and seem to want to ensure that visitors both learn, and enjoy themselves. Exhibits are well done; hiking trails are good, and this facility has become more important in our community.
