This was the highlight of our visit to the Porcupine Mountains! The falls, the geology and the lush forest along the river were all magnificent. There are some drop-offs and slippery rocks to look out for with children if any exploring takes place, but it's...More

Just a short walk down from the parking lot to the falls. Cross the suspension bridge to explore all around the creek. Be sure to see both sides and go down to the lake shore as well as back upstream to the upper falls.

Nature at its best. A lot of trails for hiking, peaceful, quite time. Best in fall but we love camping and hiking in the fall to see all the colors.

We hiked the 2.5 mile waterfall trail. It was spectacular. This hike was our favorite after a week of hiking various trails in the Western Upper Peninsula.
