Definitely worth the trip. Beautiful views. Lots of information along the way. Steps and walkway well maintained. Not for the unfit. Very tranquil!

We did a day trip to check out some Fall colors. They weren’t “popping” here, but the drive was still awesome- be sure to check out the different suggested stops (either pull the map online or just stop where you see the well marked signs)....More

This road is a beautiful drive in the fall with all the colors. There are many turnoffs to view the Au Sable. Watch carefully and there are Eagles to be seen!

Would be gorgeous drive once leaves start to turn. It has many beautiful stops along the road as you drive out west from Oscoda. It takes you to Largo springs, the Foote Dam, and many others. Great road to travel down.

The drive is very nice--but long--about 20 miles---but it was a pretty drive--not outstanding--until we stopped at the Logger mans Memorial and the Canoe monument--there you get this really great vistas of the river valley that you don't see on the tree lined drive.

We stopped at a couple of the "scenic outlooks" along the way, these were very nice although the steps are getting old. Iargo Springs and Lumberjack Monument are well worth stopping in.
