I read on the website that you can make a reservation up to 6 months in advance, but I don't know the cancellation policy. I can tell you that there is plenty to do in the area to keep everyone in the family delighted for a long time. You can walk to the village of Pentwater, easily, and it's delightful. I've been in the area every summer for more than 6 decades.
