You should stop in or call to arrange a tour of this family owned business complete with samples. It didn't take long and it was a complete tour of the candy making process..Ice cream, specialty candies and good old fashioned fudge.

I have been coming to Kilwins since a child. This was recently built in Petoskey, the city in which the company is based, and its something special to check out. If you have been to a smaller Kilwins location somewhere in America, this is probably double or triple the size of an average location, meaning plenty of options of different... More

My friend and I stayed 3 nights at the Apple Tree Inn and one of the visits that we made was to Kilwins Chocolate - three times!! We did the tour which was fun and got a free sample. We stopped on our way back from the UP and got ice cream. Then we had to stop again as we... More

We stopped in to pick up take home gifts for the family at home. Decided on the many kinds of gourmet carmel apples, and everyone said they were delicious! Overall, they have many kinds of fudge, icecreams, chocolates, and a pecan caramel popcorn I was keen to try, but had to let that lie as I would have eaten the... More

This is a great place. We stumbled upon it when we were hiking the trail in the back and saw one of their semi-trucks with the mouth watering candies plastered all over the side. Our free tour guide was a delightful gentleman who took great pride in this chocolate factory. The company has numerous outlets in the East and the... More

I passed through Petoskey on a rainy day and decided to stop for a treat at Kilwins. Not only do they have the best premium ice cream and all manner of chocolate covered treats, but you can tour the chocolate kitchen. This is the company headquarters, so they make all the chocolate treats for all their locations in this kitchen.... More

Dave was great on our tour. Plenty of samples of fudge, ice cream and candy. Only downer was the price of the candy.

We never knew there was a great big Kilwins in Petoskey. It's the place where they make all their products and ship them to franchises. They have a free tour which is well worth taking. It was thorough and informative and you get a treat at the end. We were so glad we stopped.

Thank Doymo
