This was our first camping trip in this area. The campsite is lovely. The spaces are quite big. The toilets/shower block is very modern and clean. The staff at the entrance were extremely helpful. We wanted to take the dog to the dog beach and had no clue how to find it. The man at the gate was very helpful.... More

We absolutely loved our stay. The facilities were clean. We didn't have any issue with noise other than some traffic from the main two lane road.

Our family visits the Port Crescent Day Use Park often for many purposes. The trails are fun to walk and explore and fun to ski in the winter. There is also a boat launch that is perfect for canoes and kayaks and the Pinnebog River is beautiful to paddle along. The pavilion just off the beach is great for family... More

Great campsite for friends and families. I had site 95 which is a large site across from the bathrooms. The site has very little shade. They have showers and nice bathrooms. Our site was a 2 min walk to the beach which is super nice and has plenty of room to relax on. We walked a bit down to get... More

It could've been a dark sky park, but all that traffic after the sunset..cars coming and coming on weekends. Dunes are under protection- you cannot climb them.

Very relaxing and peaceful with gorgeous sunsets!! The park was well kept and the workers very polite and helpful. The beach was beautiful and just tons to do so close by. Horseback riding, walking trails, biking along the lake, roadside. Also kayaking, canoeing, farmers market and great ice cream at the Blue Moon in Pt Austin. The park rangers walked... More

I have been traveling to the thumb for years, but have always stayed in Sleeper State Park for a variety of reasons. I have driven past Port Crescent State Park many times, but have never visited until this visit. It is definitely a park that I will make sure to get back to with my family. The beach is great,... There is not a lot of privacy in most spots at this campground, but the water front sites and public beach are beautiful. If you don't mind trading a little privacy for beautiful views, beautiful sunsets, and easy access to the water, then you want to consider this park. The staff and campground host were all very friendly which always... More

Stayed here in tents over the first weekend in August. Our group had sites 31,33,35,36 and 37. The actual sites were fine but I was not happy with the location. If you have an RV with a bathroom, no problem, but it's a long walk to the restroom/shower and uphill on the way back. It's also a little bit of... More
