If you are looking for an after dinner walk with amazing photos this is the place to go!! As the sun is setting it is breathtaking and conveniently located right behind Mackinac Grille.

I took a great picture. It was beautiful. We were there toward the evening. Its not a must see, but its also just a beautiful lighthouse.

We were waiting on the July 4th fireworks to start so we stopped in. It is a nice walk along the water and my son enjoyed it.

I love lighthouses and this one was no exception. There's a short walk out to the lighthouse but you can see it pretty well from the parking lot too. The harbor is a really nice area to walk around and just watch the water and...More

Nice short walk. Great view of the island. The sundial, not sure it works correctly with daylight savings and all. But it was interesting to try anyway. Looks like they have a splash pad but it was not in operation. Very small lighthouse.

As far as lighthouses in Michigan go, this one is so-so. Kind of plain. It's located right at the pier, though, in the middle of town so it's easy to see and easy to find. There are at least two parks nearby with parking.

read about the history of this lighthouse being in Monroe, Mich before St Ignace took possession of it and was trucked to its current location in five pieces. its a nice walk to it and a great addition to the already beautiful harbor.

This is a good spot to go if you like lighthouses, or if you have kids. I, myself, am not much into lighthouses, but the walk out to it was kinda neat. There is a splash pad area for kids nearby. My boys liked that...More

Love walking out on the long dock to sit at the lighthouse. I think the dock is handicapped accessible, but it is a long walk to the lighthouse. Put 50 cents in the binoculars and zoom in for some great views of Mackinac Island. The...More
