Good restaurants and shops in this area. They have art in the park and worth a visit. We ate at a restaurant watching the boats go by.

They have a decent selection on their menu. The clam chowder was excellent. Good view of the harbor.

Although some of the shops on these streets are chain stores, there are several which are original and carry unique items. You can find just about any scent of candle you're looking for, but there's also a lot of unique gift and home items, too....More

The shops along the street are full of art and gifts. The best part is they are all local owned small town shops. There is a mix of antiques, art, gifts, food, wine, ice cream and more. Very quaint street to stroll down.

Harbor town atmosphere. Many quaint shops and tourist attractions. Black squirrels abound. Very busy in the summer. Restrooms are handy.

We were travelling from Chicago to Mackinac Island and and run into Saugatuck around lunch time. It is a very pleasant place if you want to spend there a few hours (and that is all we did), or several days being a lazy tourist. Walk...More

We walked along Butler street Saturday night and several places had live music but we were not looking for it so we did not go into any of those places.

Shops appear to open around 9a and some stay open late (10p). It depends on the shop.
