Wonderful gallery

Stumbled on this gallery between Saugatuck and Douglas. It was a great surprise. There is a huge variety of art and styles. Worth a look.

First off the gallery collection was fabulous. That having been said, the wine tasting was dreadful. The gentleman pouring was an inch away from really rude. If you are going to offer tastings in a very nice place, at least make a showing of interest in your potential customers. This character made no effort to engage us in any way. It... More

Petted is a huge gallery with 150+ works spread over two floors and a sculpture garden. It also doubles as a well curated wine shop, wine bar, so you can stroll the gallery with wine in hand. Fair prices too.

Enjoyed a wonderful visit during our visit to Saugatuck. We asked the staff to select the cheese and wine for us and surprise us. They choose a Stilton served with honey, a hard goat cheese, and a Gouda. This was accompanied with interesting crackers and nuts and a white wine from Spain. The staff was not only knowledgeable about the... More

They do host a large number of private parties so it is worth calling ahead to check on their limited public hours. Wine selection is very nice from prior experience but we were not able to stay as they were closing at 7, but usually open to the general public until 10pm. Had hoped to have friends from out of... We stopped to look at the art and ended up purchasing 2 bottles Nickel and Nicklel wine and a bottle Caymas wine after we spent time tasting various wines and I munched on a brie plate. Nice person serving at the wine bar! Nice relaxing atmosphere , will visit again the next time we are in Saugatuck!

My girlfriend and I stopped in Saugatuck for some wine tasting, but being off-season the two businesses were closed. So as we left town we spotted J. Petter and stopped in. Wow great atmosphere, friendly staff and fine wine selections for tastings. They had Caymus! which is very rare for tasting business.

This gallery has two floors and when you think you have seen each room, you find another. Upstairs in wine area which is tastefully decorated. We could not afford the wine tasting. $5 to $9 for 4 tablespoons of ONE wine is too pricey. We have traveled around the nation and never had such a high price for a tasting... More

Now a gallery and wine bar, we found this stop to be very enjoyable. We didn't spend much time on the art side...but we had a wonderful time tasting wine and browsing. Several of us bought gift items there as well.
