I go to Binbrook Conservation area on a regular basis. It is a beautiful park with lots of space for everyone. The beach area could use more attention, as it gets dirty with bird droppings . The fishing is not good since the water has been polluted. The swim area seems fine since it is a continually flowing stream cleansing the water. The floatable area looks like fun and is a good distance from the swim area not to collide. The splash pad is excellent for children as well as adults. Picnic areas are clean, lots of parking, grounds are well maintained, but grass cutting should be done before and after the crowds come. A Sunday spent listening to the sound of tractors mowing was not money well spent. Parks should be relaxing , not like tanning in the middle of a construction zone. That is my only complaint.…

Took our kids to the beach. We were the first ones there and the hadn’t been cleaned overnight. It was disgusting. Garbage everywhere. Goose crap everywhere and I mean everywhere. As people came they walked up and down the beach looking for a spot to sit. 24 bucks to go sit in filth. Clearly no one that works there cares about the shape of the beach. Embarrassing, I won’t be back and will tell others to steer clear.…

Even if you do not need to swim, just the mere view of the lake gives you serenity that you cannot resist to enjoy it. Picnic areas are versatile and selective by the purpose you may need, shady, sunny, crowd exposed or calm and quiet. If you visit with kids they will be grateful you took them there (my grand kids were for sure talking foe days afterward) …
