More
Located on the campus of Northwestern Michigan College, the Dennos Museum Center offers an ongoing array of changing exhibits in the arts and sciences. The museum holds and exhibits one of the largest and most historically complete collections of stone sculpture, prints and drawings by the Inuit artists of the Canadian Arctic, in the United States. Its hands-on Discover Gallery features interactive engagement with the arts and sciences. The museum produces a concert series of blues, jazz and world music and other entertainment forms each year from September to May in the center’s 367 seat Milliken Auditorium and hosts performances by other community groups throughout the year.

Art exhibts are well chosen. The pieces that "live there" deserve inspection on repeated visits. The interactive room is great fun for spending time alone, with other adults, and children. The gift shop is my favorite place to find cool and sometimes unusual gifts for...More

Lots of hands on experiences for youngsters, learn by playing and fun for parents and grandparents to watch... And play also! Just as much for adults to do as well as children! Truly a wonderful artsy fun land!

We were most surprised to find such a beautiful museum in a resort centric town. Extensive Inuit art collection. Wonderful way to spend a few hours.

A very surprising find. One of the most engaging and technologically - sophisticated exploratoriums we've found outside of a major city...excellent for kids and grown-ups. The Inuit collection is also really excellent.
