I recently spent an afternoon in Traverse City and we made the time to walk along the bay in the park. It's a nice little area and has a great view of the water. Definitely stop by if you're in the area.

Clinch is located right on the water. There is metered parking (that’s all I found in the short time I was there). The view is great and the park is kept up well.

Great place to dip feet in the soul soothing waters of Mama Mich any time of year! Of course I had it to myself as it was March. Very nice just standing and enjoying the surf.

After a day of shopping around town, I wanted a place to sit, reflect and relax and this spot footed the bill. The lake views are spectacular while sitting on the nearby picnic tables. This is a great spot for lunch. I will be back.

If you are tired of the hustle and bustle of shopping, this is a nice place to catch your breath and maybe take a few beautiful photos of the boaters or other water activities or the awesome nature around the water. Nice spot to relax.

Beach, marina, kayak rental, bike path connecting to another beach 1/2 away (and 18 miles further to Suttons Bay), park, and movie theater. And you don't have to go to a movie to be able to buy the popcorn and soft drinks.

If you are not staying at a lakefront hotel this is a nice place to visit and enjoy on day of water sports.

92 degrees and the splash pad wasn't operating. Disappointed. Not that there was anywhere to park anyways. Went down the street a couple miles and hit West End Beach. Parking spot and it was FREE!

My family misses the little zoo that used to be located here but the park is nice. Visitors can rent bikes, paddle boards and kayaks to use. There is a concession stand with snacks.

Not overnight but for the day. Also, you will need to pay the meter.
