Chateau Chantal is a unique development that combines a winery, vineyards, bed and breakfast, residence, six private home sites, and winding roads, all of which combine to create an experience in Northern Hospitality. The 65 acre site sits high atop a ridge 12 miles north of Traverse City, Michigan on the beautiful and historic Old Mission Peninsula. Chateau Chantal crafts many styles of wine, allowing the grape to dictate the style. The location’s unparalleled views and outstanding staff play host to B&B activities, cooking classes, wine education opportunities, Tapas Tours, conferences and meetings, small weddings, and friendly regional wine events.

Who does not. Like wineries? This one is high on a hill with views to die for. We had a great tour of the wine making area and sampled 4 of their wines. They have a nice gift shop too.

This winery is beautiful! The patio has a great view of the water and the cherry trees were in full bloom. Had a glass of wine on the patio and enjoyed the beautiful weather. Bought a few bottles of wine on our way out

A definite stop on the OLD MISSION WINETRAIL. My suggestion is skip the routine "flight", get a glass and go out on the deck and enjoy the sunshine and views of both the EAST AND WEST arms of Grand Traverse Bay.

Great views. one of my favorite places to come visit. you also get a $3 off coupon with your tasting receipt. the outside deck is amazing so after your tasting grab a glass of your favorite and go sit on the deck.
