Great place to be! A beautiful place. How can a person not love Grand Traverse Bay? The water is turquoise blue, the air fresh and clean. Shopping, the arts and cultue are represented here.

This is my favorite place to spend a day or evening in Northern Michigan. Everything you need is here. Excellent variety of shops, restaurants, pubs and movies, too.

We live here and I consistently say "I love our downtown." Shops, restaurant's, bars, and they're all supported.

This is a unique area with plenty of shopping and food... If you go on the weekend it seems that parking is free... However, during the week there is a fee to park at every place we saw... There is a little river walk and it is across from the bay... We were here the 1st of April which is... More

Downtown Traverse City is a delight. Very scenic as it is close to the Bay and to the Boardman River. Take your time and browse, window shop, eat and drink. Very pleasant any time of year.

Enjoy the walk down Front Street and see all the places to stop and shop. Plenty of places to eat also, learn to cook at Faustinis and explore the oils and Balsamic Vinegars all sorts of flavors.

When we have friends or family visiting we make it a point to go out for a meal and wander around on Front Street. Interesting shops, places to stop in for a drink or bite to eat make it worth a visit. Plenty of crosswalks. Parking can be a challenge along Front so hitting lots a block off sometimes work... Traverse City is one of the most popular midwestern attractions and thousands of visitors flock to "TC" throughout the year. One of the major attractions is the cherry tree lined Front Street with its flourishing businesses on both sides of the street. The one way street is busy yet safe for pedestrians. Several well marked crosswalks provide easy access for... More

Always fun to be had in any of the shops since locals are accommodating and friendly. Local Michigan mittens and Petoskey stones and wine stands for sand, etc. Try the popcorn store and anything else you have the chance to try
