This is a beautiful state park, with nice campsites nestled in the trees. Located right on Lake Bemidji, with a boat launch and dock space. Also rental canoes and kayaks. Also, a nice access to the Paul Bunyan Trail, great for biking and/or walking.

The campsites were a little smaller and closer together than we would have liked but thankfully we had great neighbors...More

....wonderful kayaking and canoeing. We didn't bring bikes but others were praising the bike trail that runs through the park. Nice bog walk and interesting signage throughout.

Nice day trip from town with hiking trails and lake access. We didn't stay at the campground, but it looked clean and comfortable.
