What a treat to be able to spend some time in deep contemplation on these beautifully maintained trails. One day was sunny and warm with deer, a wild turkey, many little songbirds and squirrels becoming active; the next day I was in the midst of...More

You can see the temple when it's open as a curiosity if you ARE curious. NOT wheelchair accessible or if you have difficulty walking because only the beginning trail is paved which leads to a gazebo. Other than this the trails are maintained ground, which...More

Beautiful grounds. Saw turkeys and deer on my walk. Stopped to sing HU, an ancient name of God and the Sound of Soul at the outdoor chapel. Beautiful views of the Temple of ECK. Incredible fall foliage. This is a special place on the planet.

I am not a follower of Eckankar but I was looking for a sacred space of solitude. The temple is on one side of the grounds. This Temple is very important to the members. It is a beautiful spacious building. There were two members who...More

I love to walk on the Temple trails weather permitting and watch the wildlife. It is very well preserved and the building itself is open to everyone for visits.

My favorite part is the golden forest in the fall. The woods are so beautiful and peaceful. We took a long walk in the woods and low hills. The temple is amazingly serene and everyone is so pleasant!

The Temple of Eck is definitely worth a visit while you are in Chanhassen. It was very interesting to hear about what their beliefs are and to see their lovely building. Where else in Chanhassen can you hear about astral planes? Their lovely grounds are...More
