Watch seagulls soaring while you stroll around this popular spot, part of the revived Duluth waterfront. Nearby are a sculpture garden, jazz clubs, coffee shops, motels and restaurants. If you like ships, stand on the pier and watch huge boats and ships, some from around the world, come and go daily.

Made our annual trip to view the lights of Bentleyville. A wonderful magical experience with new light attractions added and elf scenes from Dayton’s department store of Christmases past.

Shopping, dining, lodging all with a famous bridge and working inland seaport. Great for families. It’s best to visit in the summer when the water is open and the lakers and salties are visiting the port. Winters there can be brutal, and shipping shuts down...More

Six of us visited CPBC on a very busy Friday evening. Service was excellent. Beer was really good and the food came out quickly and was excellent. Would not hesitate to come back.

Touristy trap with expensive trendy shops, overpriced noisy restaurants and non-romantic. But, the lake views and ship canal are worth the trip to see.

This is why we visit Duluth so often, there are so many things to see and do that it takes days to see it all, plus, the lake walk connects to canal park so add another day

This is a great area in the harbor area. I don't know its history but I expect at one time it was part of the harbor industrial complex. Today it has been revitalized with hotels, restaurants, walking areas, museums, and attractions. I will not try...More

I don't believe that Tall Ships Duluth is an event held every year, it seems that it is every 2-3 years on the Great Lakes. Duluth was 2013, and 2016.

As GoldenMom said, the Neptune statue is no longer there, but there are many statues on canal park. Most are located right along Canal Park Drive. One is the Fountain of the Wind, on the corner of Canal Park Drive and... More
