Took grand tour to islands. Captain was very informative about islands. Bayfield WI is a very laid back peaceful town. Quick ferry to Madeline island for a day trip was fun. Recommend a visit anytime.

Took a boat tour, the islands are breathtaking. Shipwrecks, sea caves, lighthouses, and more. Bayfield itself is a quaint seashore village with lots of small shops and a couple of decent restaurants. Some beautiful mansions. You can ferry to Madeline Island for a nice experience....More

Take the boat cruise to see and hear the history!!!!! Took my 15-year-old grandaughter and it was a very informative trip for both of us.

The Apostle Islands are NOT in DuluthDrive over to Bayfield to see the Apostle Islands. Why would you think they were in Duluth "Travel Advisor?"
