This is a beautiful park! It is free entry. There is a gazebo overlooking the lake, a paved path to the tower where you can climb 4 flights to the top for a spectacular view of the city. There are restrooms and lovely flower gardens....More

Loved the views up here in the fall with the amazing colors. However, parking was an issue when we went on a Sunday. There was a cross-country race nearby and a wedding going on so we had to park on the bottom of the street...More

Watch the weather, especially if going at night as it's a bit of a hike from where you'll have to park outside of the landmark. With snow & cold weather, you'll want to be prepared! It can also be quite slippery in the winter. But...More

Just an FYI: while you can still walk to the tower, you do have to park down the street in the winter time (parking lot is closed). You cannot climb up the tower for the view, but I think it's still worth the walk and...More

The walk from the parking lot to the tower is not difficult. There are 5 flights of stairs in the tower with places to rest along the way.
