Although it's nearing the end of the ski season, my husband and I wanted to take a trip up north to check out Spirit Mountain. They were hosting a 'brewski' event. The price and events it included sounded like a really good deal! Upon arrival on Saturday morning, we were surprised to see nothing was set up. The staff didn't... More

We brought our toddler out for his first time to ski. What a great experience starting with the ticket sales, they were so accommodating and helped us get an amazing deal when we were questioning how long our toddler would last. The bunny hill is perfect for beginners, wide, gradual and has a mat style lift so no tow ropes... More

It was pretty sweet! Not too expensive, and got to ride the alpine coaster about 6 times. If you go full speed it's really fun. I recommend this place if visiting Duluth :)

Skiing here was an add on to our dog sledding holiday in northern Minnesota. The runs were well groomed and you could come down from the top on green, blue or black. It was ok for a day or two days at most but if you really want to ski Lutsen would be a much better option. The only problem... More

We came on a Friday and it was the perfect ski day. The mountain was practically empty and we never had to wait for the lift. My husband is a brand new skier and he felt very comfortable here.

This place will keep you on the go summer or winter. If you have children you will not have to hire a babysitter. They will be so busy you will have to rediscover if you are still a parent. Try a stay in the Hexagon facilities. Especially in the summer time.

For a medium sized Minnesota Ski hill, Spirit Mountain is a fine outfit. Great for boarders and skiers looking for an easy day out on the slopes without having to travel too far out of town. Staff is friendly and helpful. Would be great if they rented helmets; we don't ski often so we had to buy one.

This place is huge. Nice big chalet to spread out in. Every time we went down a hill we found something new to go on. Prices are reasonable. Now for the bad part. Bring your own food. Food is expensive, But good. The bad taste I was left with is the attitude of the cashiers. No hi, no Thanks. Just... More

We have visited Spirit Mountain several times. In winter the skiing is decent with fantastic views of lake superior. They also have mountain biking trails/lifts, hiking and my favorite is the Alpine Coaster!! It is open year round and tons of fun for all!

We were in line at the Alpine Coaster at 12:30pm. It took an hour &1/2 to get on the ride one time. Since our group bought multi-ride passes, we got in line a second time. It took over an hour once again to get on the ride. Once on the coaster it is a great ride! It is a lot... More
