Nothing spectacular, but pure relaxation. Nice small park close to Duluth. Places to hike and picnic and simply relax and regroup!

I rode Lester this past weekend - excellent fall conditions. The trails were dry, fast, good flow, with occasional tight turns. There are a few bridges which add to the fun. For the most part, trails are well marked, though if you come out to the north side (near the Duluth Traverse trail), you have to travel down a gravel... More

our GPS for some reason detoured us off of 61 and through town, and when we drove over the bridge and saw the creek, we had to cut a quick turn around and come back. Spent a couple hours exploring. Great little not-so-crowded area that would be perfect for a lot of different uses, or just walking around taking pictures.

I live very close to this park and almost bike to it everyday! This park has a Nordic/snowmobile trail in the winter and can be used as a biking/walking trail in the summer! Also in the summer theirs cliff-jumping! Its not the safest place to go for height. This place is a must see if your in Duluth! Come visit!

We spent several hours there this morning with our three girls - ages 6,4, and 3. There were lots of things to do there to keep us all occupied. We spent some time on the playground, went for a walk/hike on some of the trails, enjoyed a picnic in a secluded spot on one of the trails (but still had... More

I'm fortunate to live close to Lester Park and go hiking here all the time. You can hike, bike, swim, play on the playground, picnic, grill, have a large sports game (soccer, football, frisbee, baseball -even volleyball or badmitten if you bring your own net). There are great mountain biking trails, walking trails, hiking trails, snow mobile trails, snow shoeing... More

If you live on the East side of Duluth, this is your park. But few visitors seem to know about it. Hiking, biking and ski trails line both sides of a dramatic river gorge. CHEAT: You can drive the Seven Bridges Road instead of hiking the steep trails. GOLF: Lester Park Golf Course is a very good public course, with... More

This is a nice little park and worth a stop. Take some time to relax and enjoy the hiking along the creeks. The kids will thank you for the stop.
