This is a very interesting place. They have done a great job of setting it up so you can really get a feel for what her life was actually like . One of the best museums I have been to.

This is a place where one is rewarded by careful consideration of the exhibits. I found the video interviews with Dorothy to be particularly effective in conveying an idea of this hardy individualistic woman.

We visited the Dorothy Motler Museum during our one week stay in Ely. Dorothy was an amazing woman and I can't wait to read her book. We bought root beer, too....should have bought more because it is delicious!
