Was on a boat as part of a bachelor party and we were grouped with a second bachelor party. As we started out, the captain was telling many stories of catching 300+ fish in an afternoon. We caught a total of 3 fish as a group, but I don't think it had anything to do with the captain - I... More

Wonderful Captain Mike helped the 4 of us catch 89 Walleye in four hours. We couldn't keep any related to some temporary DNR rules.

Want to get away to Minnesota? Don't bother bringing food, a boat, ice fishing house or even a camper. Everything is here. Don't expect white linen or drinks with umbrellas in them. This is the actual sports experience without having to bring any equipment. They specialize in launches and ice houses for fishing. Prepare for decent food and lots of... More

Ice houses are always ready to go. The staff makes me feel like I am there only guest. They have all the ice fishing gear you will ever need. Restaurant & bar are great. Plus they will even cook the fish you catch. By far the best kept secret on Lake Mille Lacs. Love this place !!!

I went on a launch out of Hunter Winfields and didn't catch anything. Second day we went here and the whole boat caught fish and got to keep them.

All you need to bring with you is a fishing license and a cooler with drinks and snacks. They provide all the fishing gear, and they know the lake. We fished mainly in the bay within sight of the Twin Pines Lodge
