Very pretty, easy to get to, wear hiking boots if you have some.

This is a very accessible, pretty park. Make sure you go down to the old flour mill ruins, but please, please, don't leave your 'mark'. This is a historic place, and we'd like... read more

The Vermillion River wasn't all that scenic and the falls not that impressive. It was also very loud because the feed mill right next to the falls was drying soybeans or corn and made a lot of noise, enough to drown out the sound of the falls. Bike trails do go through the park, so it's good for access to... More

This is a very accessible, pretty park. Make sure you go down to the old flour mill ruins, but please, please, don't leave your 'mark'. This is a historic place, and we'd like to keep it clean and graffiti-free. Thank you and enjoy!

We had problems finding this park based on the directions, but eventually found it with GPS. Once there, we pulled in to the far end of the parking lot so we never saw the park map which was at the beginning of the parking lot. We saw a lot of people coming from a path leading away from the mill,... More

The falls next to the mill is not majestic like along Minnesota's Northshore, but it is still powerful, fast running, and beautiful in its own right. There is bike path that runs along it following the Vermillion River. It is a very scenic area and worth a short stop if you are passing through town. There are outhouses on premise... More

It's a great place to take family, friends and visitors. The falls are beautiful. On a very warm day you can feel the mist from the falls and it cools you down. The park is so easy to get to, it's right off Vermillion Street. It has a large parking lot and trails for long walks. The little kids are... More

Take a few minutes and stop. The water fall is spectacular. My whole family loved it. It was my favorite stop on our adventures near the mighty mississippi.

Driving through Hastings, this is right there. There is a parking lot and it is a 30-60 second walk from the lot to the falls. It is just a quick stop that everyone should make once if you're there. I wouldn't make a special trip for this alone but neat. Next time I will walk some of the trails too.

A great place to take visitors. Nice trails and beautiful scenery. There's even an old railroad bridge that goes over the river for a great view of the falls, etc.

This is a great place for a picnic. There is a nice covered pavilion in case the weather is bad. Hiking and biking trail runs through the Vermillion Falls park. The trail leads you over a walking bridge that is high above the Vermillion river. Then a little farther down the river and you can visit the old mill ruins.... More

The falls powered the wheat mill many years ago. It is a decent drop, good "waterfall sound". Very easy to get into a well laid out and big enough parking lot. You park very close to the falls, falls and bridge are wheel chair accessible, nice small park there with picnic tables. You can walk (down stream direction) on the... More
