We drove by Lark Toys, and then did an immediate u-turn! There are hundreds of different types of toys, books, gift items, fresh fudge, icecream, and lots more! They are many antique toys on display, which brought back many childhood memories. There is also a beautiful carousel that you can ride. There is also a mini-golf course on the property.... More

We googled this quaint attraction and it said they opened at 0930...we rushed to get there for a quick tour as we were very pressed for time..to find not open until 1000, however the staff were there to open and get ready for the day and let myself and two littles in!!!! They did not have to do this, but... More

The Fudge Tree at Lark Toys serves amazing fresh fudge. We picked up a few squares from their booth at street fair that happens every Thursday in Rochester. It's full of flavor, and not too sweet.

Stopped by to see the carousel and to play some miniature golf. Fascinating toy store with interesting historical toy displays. A sweet shop and gift shop full of interesting items that I have not seen anywhere else. Delightful intricately carved animals that is a true artisans delight! A large and extensive offering of high quality toys. Entertaining for all ages.

We stopped by Lark Toys on a whim, and were totally swept away! I cannot begin to describe in words how magical the famous Carousel is- each carousel animal or creature was hand-carved from Minnesota Basswood- the artist's vision and talent are beyond compare- the designs, colors, and small hidden surprises make the Carousel alone so worth the trip! There... More

This locally owned toy store is nice in itself but what sets it a part is incredibly intricate, spectacularly beautiful carousel, entirely hand carved by a local artist, using local wood from the Mississippi river bottoms. Must be seen!

We dropped by quickly while traveling around near Rochester. The place had an interesting collection of old toys and new toys that could be purchased.

Proper expectations are necessary. As a toy store, it's just OK. Limited selection (not what you'll find at Toys R Us), but fun and unusual items such as their hand-made wooden toys. Nice collection of puzzles and books and loads of die-cast cars. It is all considerably more expensive than ordering online, but you're supporting a family run store instead... More

This store is great for young and old. Step inside and start reminiscing about your childhood toys and bring back fond memories!! Or let your children pick out a new toy or book or game. Want a specialty gift from The Lark Toy Store they have them too. Not to mention a full carousel that was beautiful to witness. Old... More

Our family of four decided to make a day trip including Lark toys as one of our stops. I was expecting more of a museum but instead it was basically a giant toy store with over priced tourist items. I will say that that staff was very friendly and my kids enjoyed their ride on the beautiful carousel. They also... More
