After driving #TheGreatRiverRoad from Venice, Louisiana it is fascinating to see the headwaters. Where the Mighty Mississippi gets it’s start is fascinating for sure.

What a beautiful site in the fall of the year. Amazing the see where the Mississippi River starts as it flows 2600 miles to the Gulf of Mexico.

I am afraid I don´t know. I traveled there from Wisconsin by car and drove to Fargo, North Dakota, after having seen the headwaters.

Agree will others, it doesn't matter. Park isn't that large & there are signs stating where to go depending on what you would like to see.
