The best part of the park is Minneopa Falls. The bridge and shelter bldg. were built by the WPA during the depression. It is a beautiful falls. don't miss it.

Beautiful double waterfall. I'm surprised we never made the effort to go here before. Will definitely go back to explore more. So close to downtown.

What a beautiful park and treasure near Mankato. The falls were flowing and were so beautiful. Drove over to see the buffalo which were majestic and just roaming around. Definitely worth the $5 to see nature in all of its glory.

While we didn't get to spend a lot of time at this park, It's important to note that it is somewhat handicap accessible. Easy to get to the falls from the parking area. And inexpensive entry. 5.00 per vehicle to park.

Love the Buffalo park! So neat to drive through and camp next too. The hiking around the falls is adventure at its best.

We love going out to Minneopa on a sunny day to hike and see the waterfall splashing over and creating a roar that is exhilarating. We love going out to Minneopa on a snowy, grey day to see the waterfall perfectly still and icy...an ice...More

I think they can be if kept on leash.

hi, I didn't go to the campgrounds, just the Falls and to see the bison. I would check with the mn state park website to make sure your camper will fit. Have a great time at a great park!
