The Minneapolis Sculpture Garden is closed for renovation, and will reopen in June 2017. One of the crown jewels of the city’s park system, the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden unites two of Minnesota’s most cherished resources—its greenspace and its cultural life. A partnership with the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board, the Garden is a top destination for tourists to enjoy art like the iconic Spoonbridge and Cherry in an outdoor park setting.

Yes, it's modern sculpture that everybody isn't geared to appreciate. But it's also really fun and has the works of some big time artists, including our favorite Claus Oldenburg. Plus some unique pieces like the chime tree that contains all ringtones of (composer & musician)...More

This park has been beautifully redone. Since they pushbacked a lot of the trees the park seems much larger and open with clear views of downtown. The chimes in the tree is the best feature added to this park. A couple of the sculptures felt...More

It was a small park with different sculptures. It is neat and free. You do have to pay for parking. There is a small mini golf game as well. You can stop by quickly (30 minutes or so) on your way to other sites.

Cute little scultpure park. We parked across the street and it was a nice walk across the roadway to get there. Loved how you could get up close and personal with the scultpures.

Great place to wander around. Went with teenage kids and it was great. They loved it. The art kept us engaged and sparked a lot of great discussions.

A quick stroll through, nice pix of you with the iconic cherry and spoon bridge sculpture and maybe the blue rooster. Looks like they just redid it so there's still chain link fences up. Beautiful view of downtown Minneapolis.

I loved this place. It is hard to find something to do that can satisfy the interests of a parent, teen, and elementary child. The mixture of cool eclectic art, being outdoors & unplugged, and getting some exercise simultaneously was a work of magic. Every...More

We pack a picnic and visit each summer! We missed it last summer during the renovations! The new sculptures and layout are great! Something for everyone!
