There are some great restaurants on Lake St, especially once it gets to Uptown and splits off to Lagoon Ave, but a large portion of it is in an underprivileged neighborhood. If you want to go to a restaurant on Lake, you'll want to look...More

The stores are run down, the sidewalks are undependable, and the crime rate is high here. Because of the low rents, ethnic restaurants locate here. Be careful after dark.

Getting on the buses here can be scary with the weird looking ppl that frequent the area. But nice food options starting from around Lyndale and Lake St. intersection to Midtown global market on Lake St. Hacienda near Autozone is descent.

You can go to Lake St. and find just about anything you need. The last time I went there was to get some Mexican food...and it was awesome!
