Large university/urban campus. Plenty of food and drink options of varied types. Very walkable campus, but can be crowded, and difficult to maneuver the street.

I stayed at The Graduate Hotel, and strolled along the entire grounds of the university-- loved it. Enjoyed the great historic, architectural buildings.

Hardly the prosaic campus scene of so many places we have visited. Strange mix of old and new construction- sort of squeezed in wherever they can find space. Winters must be brutal for getting around. Is nice having 2 major cities available for culture and...More

I was out walking on a warm day and happened upon the Memorial Union and bookstore. Good place to fill your water bottle and and relax for awhile. This is a gorgeous campus. Lots of student tours going on.

Was in town for business, and the hotel was on campus- and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I like it! Gorgeous, clean campus with lots to do. I hate to say it, but it's nicer than the Big 10 campus in my town!

I stayed in a AirBnB accommodation in Dinky Town for about 20 days. That was the lowest priced stay I have ever had in all these 4 years of my visits to UoM. The Commons is the best ,of course if price is not an issue... More
