yup. really nothing else to add. If you happen to be walking or driving by, then sure, look up. Otherwise, not something to take you out of your way.

Although I wouldn't make a special trip to view this mural, it certainly commands your attention by its size. As it is in downtown Minneapolis, it's hard not to see it as you are making your rounds. Worth a quick pic.

I play instruments and I still don't see the big deal. There are no benches to look at it and enjoy it. There's just homeless people bumming money. Take a picture, but don't get out of the car. Sheesh.

This fabulous mural is a must for any musically inclined person. Many people have gone for a quick photo/selfie and it truly is worth the time. Standing 5 stories and spanning the building's entire length it is a wonderful visual and choise of artistic notes. Maurice Ravel's "Gaspard de la Nuit" makes for a splendid photo.
Cheers to those who have maintained this piece of 1970's history.
Check out the 1977 picture of Prince in front of the mural. Just Google it and enjoy. "Dig if you will, the picture"

From coast to coast and continent to continent, street art — like large format murals and outdoor sculptures — is increasingly popular. These images and statues tell each city’s story in a very personal way, showcasing its history, culture, passion, and pride.

The Music Wall is one of downtown Minneapolis's oldest murals. Towering over a parking lot, perpendicular to S. Marquette Ave, this five-story mural displays the third movement of a piece written by French composer Maurice Ravel called Gaspard de la Nuit.

Like the bob Dylan mural there is a lot of construction in the area and no place to park.My husband parked, put on his flashers and I jumped out for a quick photo.

Located on a wall next to a pay parking lot, it's worth a quick peek if you are in the area. Otherwise, you'll circle blocks and dodge construction to try and find a place to park (unless you actually pay to use the lot and then walk around downtown). Not sure the music (all bass clef) makes much sense but it's pretty nonetheless.

A must stop as you cruise around downtown. Just a few minutes is all you will need to take it all in.
