I learned that I have a fear of heights today- surprised me! Enjoyed my little tour. Hotel staff was very friendly. I'm surprised that people complain about price, nothing is cheap in this area so o thought it seemed reasonable.

This tower felt like a mini version of the State Empire building, when I reached the top, it reminded me of that scene with Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan from "Sleepless in Seattle". I loved the Art Deco feel of the elevators in the hotel...More

This is good for about a 30-45 minute experience. Inside the W Foshay lobby, the only the elevator to the far right goes up to the top floor. I think it was $8 admission collected before the elevator, but it was free for guests of...More

We did not go to the observation deck, but did visit the bar which I believe was on the 11th floor. Great, pretty drinks! Awesome views out the windows and wonderful seating areas. Just a beautiful restored hotel!

Well known for its views over Minneapolis which were good, it has an interesting history well explained at the small museum on the floor below the viewing platform. As a small group of 6 we managed to do a deal on the entry price, without...More

The Foshay Tower Observation Deck and Museum was one of the best surprise we discovered this summer. It is on the National Register of Historical Places and a gem of an Art Deco Masterpiece. Its history is pretty awesome as well.

The shape is unique. Best view might be of its reflection in neighboring buildings from the observation deck. The musuem tells an interesting and little known story. The lobby is lovely, hard marble floors. Occassionally the "background" music was a little overpowering. Be sure to...More

It is open to the public. We paid $10 a person to go up. I believe that hotel guests go up for free.
