There is a series of gardens in the Lake Harriet area-the Rose Garden, the Perennial Garden, the Peace(or Rock) Garden and the Trials Garden. They are sometimes called the Lynndale Park Gardens. We visited the Rose Garden about two weeks late to see the peak...More

The rose garden is basically several plots of roses. Don't expect incredible landscaping or arbors to use as prom picture backgrounds or anything. Not knowing anything about roses myself, I may just be missing the allure, but there's not much to see here.

We stopped to walk through the gardens on a steamy Tuesday. Fun to see the beautiful colors of roses, the organization of the different colors and the fountains and art along the way. I'll be back!

A peaceful interlude from a hectic day of being a tourist. Minneapolis parks are absolutely beautiful and make me want to live here ... in the summer!!

I love to come here to take walks and admire the flowers. I am a passionate gardner. This is such a relaxing space.

The Lake Harriet Rose Garden is a great place to spend an afternoon--almost every time I've been I've seen a wedding or prom kids taking pictures in the rose garden. Perfect spot for a romantic picnic!

Blink and you'll miss it, but if you don't you'll be glad you stopped. Countless varieties of not only roses, but many different kinds of flowers. A photographer's paradise.

Part of the larger Lake Harriet park located on the northeast end. It is a free area with simple paths between a wide variety of roses. Not specifically worth a special trip but if at Lake Harriet on a walk, worth 10-15 minutes.

I didnt know this existed until today. Small but cute. Definetly worth walking through! Free to go to and it wasnt very busy. There is a small paved path. No chairs for elderly to sit if walking through.
