The park is easy to find and there was plenty of parking for $1 per hour. The big waterfall is just a short walk from most of the parking. You can also walk down to the bottom of the waterfall. There was a fairly large...More

The 167-acre park has two main portions; an upper section above the easily accessible Minneheha falls, with grassy open areas like many other city parks, and the lower 54-acre section which is for the most part allowed to maintain its natural state. A creek and...More

Park is easy to get to by the light rail or car. It offers a pleasant walk along the stream and past the waterfall. There are places for children to paddle and play. It could do with more refreshment places as Seasalt gets extremely busy....More

We had a family reunion on July 15. It was warm, but there was a nice breeze and we appreciated the ample shade. The grounds were well maintained with fine hiking and biking trails. The falls were voluminous and beautiful.

This was a lovely place for an easy hike with my teen son. The falls were amazing. I have it 4 stars because of the random graffiti.

We went to the park specifically to see Minnehaha Falls (because who DOESN'T want to see a waterfall with this name??). The falls are lovely and you can walk to several different levels of viewpoints making for excellent photo spots. Wish we had allowed more...More

The falls were flowing beautifully today as we walked up and down the paths. The surrounding gardens and paths are worth lingering and a picture or 2. Found a helpful staff gardener who id'd some of the flowers for us. Spend an hour or 2...More

We took our grandsons (ages 7 and 10) to see the falls one morning and then hiked along the trail to the river - it's about a 40-minute walk (on way) on a mostly level trail. After we returned from where we started, the boys...More

Most parking is metered. There are some free street park but it us hard to find. I believe there are some season parking lots for an annual fee.

As others have said, no. The Falls is that - a big waterfall which follows a creek to the river. Nearby the Fall area: Lake Nokomis and further North of that: Lake Calhoun and on the other side of Lake Street: Lake of... More
