You can connect pretty far using this path. I didn't see anything that told me exactly how far. It's a great way to hide from cold or heat.

We were super thankful for this while there at the end of December. It was a great way to still explore downtown, but stay warm... until it closes. We were locked out and had strayed too far from the light rail for that tempurature. If...More

I used the walkway for going over to the convention center for a Food Expo, I went everywhere in the downtown by this walkway and stayed warm and people using it were all friendly.

It is a very comprehensive link to the offices and restaurants in downtown Minneapolis. I use it every day.

This is the way local people navigate around downtown during the winter (and for that matter year-round). Most buildings in a half-mile square in downtown are connected on their second level by these skyways. And the skyways extend out from the center as much as...More

Years ago when I visited MN for the first time before moving here, I was in Minneapolis and thought the whole skyway system was quite clever. Then you also think, is it really that cold in this city that a skyway system was built? To...More

I would suggest getting on google maps to figure out which bus stop/bus route will be the closest to you. I believe a 742 or 747 are Plymouth express routes that go into downtown(make sure you know the time of the last route... More

You can use the light rail system, for about $2 each way. You can catch it at the airport and if goes to Target Filed which is just a short walk to downtown.
