Improv, the fickle little sibling in the comedy family... Thankfully, we hit this theater on an up night. An extremely talented group entertained with quick wit in Family Dinner. The next bunch, after orienting myself to the next style of performance, made my ADHD brain look focused. But they did it. I had tears! Well done HUGE! I will be... More

Every time I come to the cities I have to catch a show at the HUGE Improv Theatre. Usually there are three-shows-for-the-price-of-two and it makes for a fantabulously entertaining evening. On this particular occasion I saw the improv comedy troupe "The Bearded Men" who were entertaining and funny and fabulous.

The Mess and so many other good shows! Best part is that it is free and the community associated with this theater. Has a great vibe and always leave with a huge smile and sometimes sides splitting! Started going when there was The Away Team - turns out somebody from my hometown in Massachusetts was on it after moving to... More

Went as a group of eight. We all looked at each other afterwards wondering if each of us was the one that didn't laugh. Seems the first few rows were regulars or family and friends of the comedians. I couldn't do what they do, but found it hard to not be on the "inside" of their jokes. May try again,... More

HUGE offers folks the opportunity to try their hand at improv on Thursday nights. I've been taking classes for a while and thought....why not. This is a great lace to start, everyone there is extremely supportive. I was one of 26 people divided into one of 4 groups and given about 8 minutes per grop to perform. There is an... More

We saw two shows in one night: the mess and clue. The mess was more enjoyable, funnier and witty. Clue was too fast paced, the improv was clumsy and it lost me along the way, which is too bad because it was the reason we came!

... with the funniest members of your group of friends.. and the finniest of THEIR friends. There was some unevenness in the cast, but it was WAY less expensive than the big improv venues in Minneapolis. But I liked the intimacy of the theater space. The audience was super-friendly, which was really nice- from chatting up different locals, we learned... More

I love supporting theaters like this so we went here on the 2nd night of a 4-night visit to Minneapolis and loved the comedy troupe we saw. We liked it so much we went back on our 4th night which unfortunately was very disappointing and we left at intermission. But that is the nature of improv- sometimes they hit the... More

HUGE theatre is a small non-profit that specializes in improv comedy. They host shows every week at their beautiful little place in Uptown (in Minneapolis). We went for the first time and loved it. The players were talented and kept the audience roaring. The space was cozy, yet they had a bar. The ticket price of $5 is very low... More
