Great setting for a family Easter Gathering. No one wants to cook and these people do it well for you. Dinner is served family -style with choice of ham hash browns eggs thick-cut bacon and a great apple salad. Food was delivered quickly and refills were prompt as well.

There are three Bar Lurcats, each of them very good. There's the main restaurant, with its lovely, floor-to-ceiling window view of Loring Park and terrific wait staff. (Hope you get John, who has been there for decades and is a treat.) The food is excellent, and the bread that leads in is as good as any in the Cities. There's... More

Visited on the Thursday night Prince died. All of downtown Minneapolis was in the streets but this restaurant was packed. Innovative small plates and entrées. " Apple, cheese and chive salad" was the best.

About a month ago, I had to put together a last minute business dinner. Mixed company with a variety of pallets and food allergies. I had a friend recommend Bar Lurcat and decided to try it. I looked at the menu and noticed it was not inexpensive. After some apps, multi course meals, some desert, and bottles of wine, we... More

We stopped in for a glass of wine and a snack before dinner at a different restaurant. The bar is simply gorgeous and the service was great. We had the raw tuna flatbread and it was wonderful. The happy hour prices are very reasonable. They have a nice beer and wine list. We will be back!

Second time here in 2 days. Came for date night which is a great deal - $50.00 for two 3-course dinners and a bottle of wine. Had dinner the next day with my daughter. Had the red wine meatballs, beet and arugala salad, bursts and heirloom tomatoes, and house made egg noodles and lamb meatballs. Happy hour offered $4.00 glasses... More

Went with friends for dinner, easily found seating outside. Drinks were very good and we had fried rice, fish tacos and fries and all were very tasty. The ricotta cakes were gummy with no real taste. Had a couple of desserts and after dinner drinks, which were very good.

The restaurant has a really nice layout to meet in a small or a large group, and even comfy chairs to gather around. The food is good and the cocktails are really well prepared. Deserts are wonderful. Overall a fun place.

Location and atmosphere are excellent. High end atmosphere. Date night special is great. Wine is so so but for the price and with the great food (apple salad, mushroom tart, oysters, half chicken, hangar steak) it was exceptional. Service was also friendly and excellent. We'll be back.

We love Lurcat for special event happy hours. The staff are good about reserving areas for larger groups to gather casually and mingle. Sofas provide a comfortable and relaxing space. Drinks are good and service is alright. Warm, dim lighting offers an element of intimacy and conversations are private due to the layout. Some metered parking is available, but be... More
