Why not go for a short drive? Great place to be and walk around. Sledging views, sledge hill, snow skating, snow kiting etc were a beautiful sight of the evening!

This park is great for families as it has a beautiful park and ice cream. I would come here again since it is so great for lake fun and playing around. They have nice trails and great restrooms too.

I have never gone here before the construction, so I really can't compare. However, I've been to a lot of parks in various states. For a local, free, park, this one is excellent. It's like a little getaway from the daily grind. I love going...More

About halfway in to the lake. You can walk or take a trolley to the lake. There is also parking at the group sites. Cars with boats can park right at the beach near the boat launch.
