Lake Pepin is truly amazing! A small unique town, with a huge lake blending with the Mississippi. ⛵, BOATS, lots of them. There are fishing boats, sailing vessels, on your own or take a tour! Watch America's symbol, the majestic Bald Eagle soars over the lake, looking for a all you can eat, fish buffet! When the lake is frozen,... More

What a pretty lake this is.... Fun place to pop over and see if you are in the Red Wing area. The tour boat was not up and running yet, but will for sure come back and do this.

Have stayed at Camp Lacupolis and at hotels in small towns along both the MN and WI sides of Lake Pepin. It is truly a beautiful area. There are many places to stop to eat, shop at flea market and antique stores, fish, boat, etc. There are also numerous museums, scenic overlooks, etc. The drives are breathtaking in the Autumn.... There is so much to see in this city and there are a few houses that go all out for Halloween that was really neat to see. The marina was nice and nothing beats watching the sunrise over the bay.

We keep returning to the Lake Pepin Area. Gorgeous views and drive along the Great River Road. Many small towns, hotels, eateries along the way. Lots of fishing, hunting, hiking, shopping opportunities. Makes for a great family trip or romantic weekend.

Lake Pepin is that portion of the Upper Mississippi between Minnesota and Wisconsin that begins many miles south of Red Wing, MN and extends many miles south of Pepin, WI. At its widest, it is several miles across. It's lined with majestic bluffs, bald eagle sanctuaries, and historic river towns -- each with its own personality. At its deepest it... More

Whether you drive along the Minnesota or Wisconsin side of Lake Pepin you will not be disappointed. On both sides of the river there is a vast selection of hotels, B&B's, restaurants and shops to enjoy. There are parks and beaches where you can sit to relax, play or enjoy a picnic as you watch the sailboats float by.

I love to sit and enjoy the view along Lake Pepin. There are seagulls, hawks and an occasional eagle. The sailboats docked in Lake City make a nice picture. There are pretty view from both the Minnesota and Wisconsin sides. For those of you that do not know Lake Pepin is a wide spot on the Mississippi River. But what a... More

This beautiful lake is great for many activities. We drove to Pepin, WI and took a sailboat ride. The people at SailPepin were great. Fun and educational. Wine and appetizers and a sunset cruise.
