This wonderful park has great views of most of Red Wing. We had a picnic lunch while people played disc golf around the interior of the park plateau. It was a brisk fall day, but the sun kept us warm. Definitely worth the drive up.

This is a really gorgeous park for picnics, disc golf, and views of the Mississippi and Red Wing. The park is well-maintained but could use more places to park for those who wish to remain a while.

Really, if in Red Wing, you should do this; the drive does not take long--be sure to stop at both upper and lower quarries. Beautiful views. We wanted to climb Barn Bluff, but the weather did not permit--this was a good alternative.

When we reached the top of the Bluff, we found an amazing view of Red Wing! It was worth the trip and will certainly come back to see it again.

The road up to Memorial park is closed to motor vehicles in the winter so walkers have the park all to themselves. Temps are way above normal now and most of the snow is melting. Just look out for dog poo.

Sorins Bluff and Memorial Park offer really nice vistas over the city of Red Wing and Mississippi River. There are also some nice facts about the old quarries that used to be here.

Since my husband and I didn't want to take the time to hike Barn Bluff, we chose to drive up to the top of Sorin's Bluff. We parked at the top and enjoyed the great views of Red Wing. Unfortunately, my photos do not do...More

I declined my husband's offer to climb Barn Bluff, and opted for the drive up to Sorin's bluff. It was a clear day, and you could see forever up there. Plenty of paths for hiking, and along the way there was signage to explain the...More

There isn't a street address that I am aware of, but I asked directions when in Red Wing and it was easy to find. Worth checking out!
