If you come to Rochester, do go and see the wall and statues. The did a amazing job of this tribute to those who gave all. I have been to Washington DC and seen the War wall there. This is just amazing what they have done here.

This incredible Veterans Memorial commemorates the individuals who gave their life from the time Minnesota became a state to present day's wars. It is one of the largest privately funded veterans monuments I've ever seen. The monument was totally funded by donations. The planning and workmanship that was devoted to this project is incredible. This is a monument that shows... More

Not only does this list thousands of names of soldiers in the area but also gives some history facts related to Mayo and many other military related facts.

The Veteran Memorial is a beautiful remembrance wall, accompanied by paver named for Heros lost. There are scenes engraved in the marble for each war, and the names of our fallen engraved on the back. I find it a great place to relax, remember, and pray.

Surprisingly moving and well laid out and thought out memorial to veterans, close to downtown Rochester and at the entrance to Soldier's Field Park. Worth a stop to walk around the memorial and pay homage to those who have sacrificed so much for our country.

Beautiful park! We were here in the fall. The colors were amazing. Would recommend visiting the memorial to the soldiers past and present.
