Enjoyed my first visit to the Ordway to see Dinner At Eight. Everything was very accessible from the lobby to the bathrooms. Refreshments were very easy to pre-order for intermission, except my drink was not there and had to ask. I did have a taller person sit in front of me and could not see very well, but that I... Their enjoyment is contagious. The newly renovated concert hall isn't quite the eye candy of the main hall but the musicians love it (great acoustics). So much fun as an audience member to not only listen to the stellar music but to see them delighting in the space and performing with each other.

I have gone to the Ordway Center many times since I was a kid. I have loved it ever since. I have seen operas, plays, musicals, and concerts here. All of them I have felt comfortable, safe, and able to see the whole stage and have had no problems. Each worker and volunteer has been welcoming and courteous even when... More

I have come to this theatre for many different shows and events and it is always a good experience. The staff are friendly and helpful and the seating is comfortable, for the most part. I have never had a truly horrible seat, although I would not highly recommend sitting on the second row of the balcony on the sides of... More

Love the Ordway and last night's performance of White Christmas was expcetional. This is the third different season I have watched the performance and this year's cast and scenery were the best yet. The theater is easy to navigate though the main area is narrow and can get crowded. I like that the seating is at a good angle so... More

Great experience! The staff at the Ordway is top notch. Wonderfully helpful and friendly ushers! The facility is beautiful and even the gallery seats offer a nice view of the stage. The performance was festive and well put together. The only Ordway drawback is the need for even MORE women's restrooms. They are well equipped but there is a chance... More

This is my third time to the Ordway, 100th if I could afford it, and always wonderful performances of all varieties. This one was Stomp...fantastic. I don't know the seating here as well as Orchestra Hall yet the center balcony seats are quite far away. Due to a ticketing error we were research on the main floor near the front.... More

Watched Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra performance of Mozart and Schubert. This is a great venue for classical music. We made it an evening starting with dinner at the Saint Paul Grill. Then a short walk across the park to the Ordway. This is a beautiful theatre with wonderful acoustics. I highly recommend see a concert or show here.

I had never been to the Ordway, but envisioned a lovely restored older theatre like so many cities have. What I encountered was a seemingly new performing arts center that hosts Broadway shows, The Minnesota Opera and other cultural performances. We came to see Paint Your Wagon, an older production, but one whose message is still timely. I remember the... More

This was a fantastic theater experience. We saw "Paint Your Wagon". At the time I decided to go as it was for family, even though I thought I wouldn't care for the music.. Wow...wonderful production, first class singers, great stage setting. There is also plenty of parking within a couple blocks...parking is often a problem in many of Minneapolis theaters.... More
