I lived just off Grand Avenue many years ago and loved being able to just walk a block to get there. The business make-up has evolved over time (there never used to be any chain stores but there are now a few mixed in) - aside from that, the street still beckons me to wander its sidewalks with intermittent stops... Grand Avenue is the place to be. From the home made ice cream shop to fabulous little gift shops and antique stores to a local hardware store it is so fun. Don't forget to get your ice cream cone and you stroll along.

Beautiful shopping street located in an interesting area of St. Paul. Plenty of restaurants, bars, and stores to wander in and out of. Very easy to spend a half to a full day here!

I love walking up and down Grand avenue. It's got a lot of my favorite restaurants (like cafe latte) but also fun and unique shops and services. I have spent a lot of money for a day out and there are many times where there is no parking and it's incredibly crowded but the owners and workers at every Grand... More

Grand Avenue is ever evolving, but retains the same charm. Since living in on the historic street, back in the 70's -- always return, just to take a walk through time. Even when a new structure emerges, effort is made to complement the neighborhood. During the holidays, the ghosts of Christmas past flit above the old street lamps. And the... More

We, husband and I wandered, shopped and ate with 2 grown daughters and future son-in-law Black Friday. Parking was easy, not crowded, ate at Cafe Latte, very tasty but not well set up for smooth flow. Enjoyed Mischief store, fun games, markers. Bought good smelling things at Garden of Eden, found just what was needed for wedding table seating place... More

There are several quaint lunch spots, with quality food. Street side holiday decorations were tastfully done.

Cute shops and yummy restaurants. Find a place to park and enjoy a coffee, lunch or dessert. Pop into some of the shops and treat yourself or buy gifts.
