Love hanging out down on Grand ave on warm, nice summer weekends. We go to Billys for a coctail and lunch or dinner, then stroll on down to Salut for a Mojito or two! There is shopping, resturants, music, people watching....

I would recommend driving the full length of Grand Avenue to see what there is. There is not a lot of ample parking, so would suggest parking at the only garage that I saw around over the Pottery Barn store and across from other shops....More

Grand Old Days is a yearly street festival with food and other vendors. It was very busy and the food choices just repeated themselves. It was like being at the state fair. There are many bars along this street but if you wanted a drink...More

Other than walking around and window shopping there is not that much over here. Love look at the old houses on the way though. One place I would advise to try their desserts will be Caffee Latte - Sooooo Good

Stop at Caffe latte and grab a scone to go as you window shop your way down Grand. It is quite lovely but also quite pricey. Also, it is close to a younger college crowd, so be prepared for lots of "hipsters."

Really enjoyed strolling Grand Ave checking out the shops and grabbing quick bites to eat:) Truly met some nice people...I see why they call it "Minnesota Nice". Check out Golden Fig for great herbs, spices, mixers etc.

Fun place to be no matter which part of Grand Avenue you're on! The Victoria Avenue area is definitely the busiest, with many shops and restaurants. If you're near there, going to Grand Ol' Creamery with their delicious ice cream or Cafe Latte, with their...More

A favorite place for both visitors and natives, Grand Avenue has just about everything. Near Cathedral Hill there are very nice galleries featuring local artists' work. Good eats are to be found including Dixie's on Grand for a Northern take on Southern vittles. You'll find...More

Staying in downtown Saint Paul would be very convenient. There is a magnificent hotel there called THE SAINT PAUL HOTEL. It is a little pricy but it is five star in every respect. There is a less expensive option - the... More
