The Twin Cities really lack a nice streed good for walking, shopping or eating. Grand Ave. remedies that to an extent. It runs from Mississippi river to downtown St. Paul, so it;s quite long. There are several areas along grand that are dotted with restaurants,...More

We love Grand Avenue! Some of the shops and restaurants are doggie friendly! Springs, Summers and Fall are our favorite doggie seasons on Grand!

Returned to St. Paul to visit family. Spent an afternoon with my younger sister exploring Grand Avenue. What a great way to reconnect and celebrate life. Dynamic shops, a great variety, but with a central theme of being there to accommodate. Well worth the time...More

Grand Avenue is a nice street to walk along. There is another coffeehouse every few blocks. The street cuts through Macalester and St. Thomas campuses. And there are lots of restaurants along the way too.

Grand Avenue is a street with a mixture of local shops and restaurants, along with a few chain establishments. Because of the variety of one-of-a-kind shops and eateries it is unique within the Twin Cities. The shopping experience stretches a couple of miles and there...More

Formerly a trendy area of St. Paul. Slowly but surly getting taken over by chains. Still there are lots of gems to be found. You just have to look harder to find them.

This is one of the best small town feeling in the big city. Great small shops with great deals and some local artist. I love all the choices I had to not only shop but to eat at; all in a small area. I'll be...More

Great little stores and restaurants. Free Parking can be challenging, but there is a ramp on Victoria. Favorite places are Cafe Latte and Axels (go for early bird discounts at Axels.) and Bibolet shop. Winter can be chilly, but dress warm and walk fast.
