We were driving up the North Shore from Duluth and stopped at this wayside. However, we didn't know there were falls right on the highway until we drove out of the parking lot. We're apparently not very observant and the weather was rainy. So, while...More

A nice quick stop. There is a parking lot and restroom southwest of bridge. Easy access walkway on bridge. Very powerful flowing fall on Cross River the day we stopped. Across from the parking lot is Schroeder's bakery. They have coffee, Pizza, Sandwiches and Ice Cream.

This stop is right on the highway, very convenient. Beautiful falls. They were really rushing the day we stopped to look. A couple of people were fishing on the other side of the bridge.

On our annual up north excursion we stopped to see all the falls on Highway 61. There'd been a lot of rain and the Cross River and Falls were fantastic this year! Lots of roiling water. Easy to get to and a fun place to...More

Easy walk from Lamb's Resort to see these gorgeous falls. I didn't climb down the steep hill to walk along the Cross River, but some folks did.

We were returning to Duluth and suddenly realized that there is a fall flowing behind the bridge and decided to stop. To our surprise, there is a immediate parking available just beside the falls.Good pit stop !!
