I love this place! A sweet loop through the trees, a pebble beach which is a great place to enjoy the lake and stack rocks, and Sugarloaf itself which has beautiful trees and views. Don't miss this place!

Sugarloaf Cove is not as well-known as the state parks that dot the North Shore, but is a beautiful place to experience the big lake.

Tucked into a natural cove, this area is interesting both for its natural beauty and also for its history in the region. Why stop here when there are so many places along the North Shore? It is a break from the harsh winds of Superior...More

Due to my leg problems, we just took the trail to the beach and that was good enough for us! It was a beautiful place to go. There were a few steps, but it wasn't bad. There are also 2 trails that take a longer,...More
