I have stayed at Tettegouche campground several times. There is so much to do and see. The Superior Walking Trail goes on for miles and you have the gorgeous High Falls and Two Step Falls right in the campground. You have so many options either woods or beach. Shovel Point has a spectacular view of Lake Superior and the Palisade... More

This trail was wonderful... a nice hike for all. Beach area is a fun visit--- see river on one side, Lake Superior on the other. Clean, great gift shop, lots of nice restrooms, very very well-kept.

We are spending this vacation doing local hikes along the north shore. This one was recommended by the local state park as well as the special guide book we have on day hikes along the northern shore. The waterfall, even in late summer, was impressive. The hike is easy and anyone in reasonable physical condition can do it.

Great facility with people there to help you with trails. Education for kids by state Park employee. Nice place to have a picnic or just rest. Trails are well marked and kept clean of debris.

We bought the state sticker and drove closer to the high falls (1.5 mile total out and back). The hiking was on nice trails and wood steps). We enjoyed our time at the top of the falls (saw crayfish and frogs in the water), but you really can't get a good look at the falls from that side. My kids... More

Tettegouche has beautiful waterfalls, trails and modernized restrooms. Great place to spend the day hiking, watching the water, picnicking and visiting with the staff. They have ac in the Visitor Center with sitting areas, vending machines, water fountain to refill your bottles, an education area and gift shop.
